Rome 9 May 2012. The president of the Fondazione MAXXI, Pio Baldi, has presented his resignation to the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities due to the interruption of the necessary condition of trust between MiBAC, the founding and promoting partner, and the Fondazione MAXXI.
“I would like to wish MAXXI and its new leader”, says Pio Baldi, “the greatest possible success and above all I would wish the same for all those colleagues who over the last few years have worked with me with passion and spirit of sacrifice to realise and create this wonderful Italian adventure projected towards the future”.

Roma 9 maggio 2012. Il Presidente della Fondazione MAXXI, Pio Baldi, ha rimesso il suo mandato al Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, essendosi interrotto il necessario rapporto di fiducia tra MiBAC, socio fondatore promotore, e Fondazione MAXXI.
“Auguro al MAXXI e a chi lo guiderà – dice Pio Baldi – il più vivo successo e soprattutto lo auguro a tutti i dirigenti e collaboratori che con me in questi anni hanno lavorato con passione e spirito di sacrificio per realizzare e fare esistere questa bella avventura italiana proiettata verso il futuro”.
